Musician and festival singer Muslim has announced his official divorce from his wife Mika Al-Baghdadi on Instagram. The Egyptian Musicians Syndicate has fined the performer for violating a ban on performing for appearing in the song "Rohba" without obtaining a permit from the union. Dr. Mohamed Abdullah, the media spokesperson for the union, confirmed Muslim's suspension from work for violating his contract with a production company, which his mother had signed on his behalf. The union has warned the musician against performing his new song "Sabouk Fi Al-Beit" without a license, which, if ignored, could result in another fine.
