She announced her absence while being honored at the Wesh Wesh Awards, stating that she will be filming a comedy movie soon. This film will join a series of comedy movies she has starred in recently, including "Abla Tam Tam" with comedian Bayoumi Fouad. Yasmin's husband, Ahmed El-Awadi, had previously announced their artistic separation during an appearance on the program "Hobr Saree."
