Kuwaiti artist Abdullah Al Rowaished shared a photo with his followers on Instagram, showing him with the late Abu Bakr Salem during a musical concert. Al Rowaished wrote on the photo, "They left us, but their memories did not, and their voices are still with us. Oh Allah, have mercy on every dear one we lost ... Abu Bakr Salem." The post came on the anniversary of Abu Bakr Salem's death, who passed away on December 10, 2017, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the age of 78 after a long battle with illness. Al Rowaished has collaborated with Abu Bakr Salem on several artistic works, in melody or lyrics, including the songs "Give Me a Chance," "Interest," "Night of Nights," "Honest Intentions," "Oh You Who Forget Your Loved Ones" and "Your Heart Has Changed." Meanwhile, he has also sung "No One is Comfortable" by the words of Al Nasser, which Al Rowaished performed in several concerts with Abu Bakr Salem, especially "February Concerts". Recently, Abdullah Al Rowaished released a song exclusively for the UAE National Day titled "UAE Al Wafa" written by Hassan Al Obaidly and composed by Fayez Al Saeed, and he is currently a judge on the talent show "X Factor" along with the artist Ragheb Alama and the artist Angham on Dubai TV.
