Nicholas Cage awarded "elyosr" honorary prize at the 3rd Red Sea Film Festival.

The Red Sea International Film Festival held its closing ceremony on December 10th, showcasing Michael Mann's film "Ferrari" as the festival’s closing event. The festival is one of the film projects supported by the Red Sea fund and the winners of the Yusr Awards were also announced. Actor Nicholas Cage received the honorary Golden Yusr Award for his exceptional talent and contribution to the film industry. Another film, "Dream Scenario," directed by Christopher Porgerli and starring Nicholas Cage, was also showcased at the festival. The Yusr Awards are among the region’s largest awards, given to rising and established voices in film categories that include feature films, documentaries, and animations. Recipients include individuals from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Asia, and Africa. In total, 14 categories were identified for the winners, with 17 feature films competing against one another and 23 short films also competing for the Yusr Awards.
