King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired the session of the Council of Ministers in Riyadh and approved the general budget of the state for the new fiscal year 1445/1446 AH (2024). The cabinet reviewed the budget and made the following decisions: estimated revenues of SAR 1.172 trillion, expenses of SAR 1.251 trillion, and a deficit of SAR 79 billion. The King urged ministers and officials to commit to implementing the development and social programs and projects included in the budget.
