Qatar and Saudi Crown Princes Head Joint Coordination Council Meeting and Sign Agreements.

The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, and the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad, chaired a meeting of the seventh session of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council in Doha. The meeting focussed on the fraternal relationship between the two countries and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various areas. They also discussed regional and international events and efforts made in this regard. The two leaders exchanged a number of bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding. The Saudi delegation included high-ranking officials from the energy, defence, finance, and commerce sectors. The Qatari delegation included senior officials from the foreign affairs, defence, interior, finance, and culture ministries. The meeting marked a significant milestone in the improvement of relations between the two countries, which were previously strained due to regional tensions.
