The famous Egyptian producer, Nahed Farid Shawki, has passed away at the age of 72. Her son's wife, actress Aya Samaha, announced on social media that her funeral procession will take place after the afternoon prayer at the police mosque in Zayed. Shawki produced many popular TV series and films and contributed to the development of the Egyptian entertainment industry. Her passing has been mourned by fans and colleagues in the industry.
