Nicolas Cage to film "Lord of War" in Morocco.

Kasbah Films, led by executive producer Karim Debbagh and based in Tangier, Morocco, has announced a group of American and British projects that will be filmed in Morocco, including a new movie called "Lord of War", which stars Nicolas Cage as the world's most lethal gun dealer. During the Marrakech Film Festival, Debbagh spoke to Variety about his work on "Lords of War", which is set to begin shooting in March for about 40 days. Debbagh explained that he is currently exploring different sites in Morocco to choose the filming locations. "We are trying to cover four to five African countries, like Libya, Egypt, Senegal and Mali, and several countries in the Middle East, and we found almost everything in Morocco," he said. Debbagh added that the "Lords of War" crew will include between 400 to 500 workers and that the Moroccans have become highly trained in recent years, thanks to the big films that have been shot in the country, in addition to schools that have opened and helped promote the skills of young people.
