James Cameron Reveals Release Date for "Avatar" Part Three.

Director James Cameron announced that the third installment of his Avatar movie series will be released on Christmas 2025. He revealed in an interview with a New Zealand television channel that he and his team are preparing for two very busy years to finish all the details of Avatar 3, including editing. Cameron also said that he will focus his future productions, particularly with Avatar, in New Zealand due to tax exemptions that reduce the production's massive financial costs. He is expected to become a citizen living in the southern islands next year. Earlier, during the Critics' Choice Awards in January 2023, Cameron hinted that there will be a big role for fire in Avatar 3 after earth and water. He also announced in late 2022 that he had shot scenes for Avatar 3 and 4 simultaneously with the first two movies to maintain the heroes' features' details. The first Avatar movie narrates the story of a paralyzed American soldier sent to a distant moon in space called Pandora. It is inhabited by peaceful blue creatures called Na'vi, who lived in safety and stability before humans arrived to mine a very precious mineral on this asteroid. The second movie's events take place sixteen years after the defeat of the Na'vi's people's invasion by humans. A war begins against the outlaws who refuse to mate with humans and the native people, culminating in a victory for good. However, Cameron did not reveal any details about the plot for the upcoming movie.
