Egyptian actress Lubna enjoys attending the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where she met Hollywood star Sharon Stone during the Women in Cinema event. The festival runs from November 30 to December 9, with the Middle East and North African premier of Ferrari (2023) on the closing night. The opening night premiere was for Saudi Arabian fantasy romance feature Hwajen (2023) by director Yaser Al-Yasiri. The festival boasts an impressive line-up of international and Middle Eastern luminaries, including Joel Kinnaman, Freida Pinto, Amina Khalil, Paz Vega, and Balazs Lerner amongst others. Ferarri is directed by Michael Mann and stars Penelope Cruz and Adam Driver. The festival organizers announced Brazilian film producer/director Baz Luhrmann is the head of the judging panel. Luhrmann is well-known for his award-winning films, Moulin Rouge, and The Great Gatsby.
