Egyptian actor Mohamed Karim has signed on with AGC Studios in Hollywood to star in Judgment of the Dead, a film he wrote himself based on his interest in Egyptian culture and history. The thriller and fantasy film has tapped Karim to play a prominent Egyptian archaeologist named Sharif Fayez, who must save the world and the woman he loves after uncovering an ancient artifact that unleashes an evil spirit. The project is the latest in a string of international films for the actor, who will also soon star in Iron Ribbon, a romantic thriller based on the true story of a Polish theatre star who killed her cancer-ridden fiancé in 1924.
