The success of the Kingdom's file has been credited to the support of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who announced the Kingdom's formal application to host the event in October 2021. The Expo is the world's largest platform for showcasing the latest achievements and technologies, promoting international cooperation in economic development, trade, arts, culture, and science and technology.
