Actor Nicolas Cage has announced that he will be taking a step back from acting in many movies now that he is nearing the age of 60. He wants to spend more time with his daughter and prioritize his family. Cage will turn 60 on January 7, 2024. Despite this decision, he has recently experienced a resurgence in his film career, with many movies set to be released in 2022 and 2023, the latest of which is the comedy Dream Scenario. Cage stars alongside Lily Bird, Julian Nicholson, Jessica Clement, and Paula Bodro in a comedic, dramatic film directed by Christopher Bulljelly. The movie tells the story of a family man who becomes famous overnight when millions of strangers begin seeing him in their dreams. The movie is set to be released in November 2023. Sony Pictures has also released a trailer for Butcher’s Crossing, a film starring Oscar-winner Cage, which was presented at the 48th Toronto International Film Festival. The story follows a college student who joins a team of buffalo hunters on a dangerous trip. It is set to hit theaters on October 20, 2023.
