Egyptian actress Mona Zaki has called for changes in laws regarding women's rights, saying that it is a woman's right to make a will for her children. Speaking at the Arabwoood event, where she was honoured for her role in the TV drama "Under Custody" that aired during the last Ramadan season, Zaki said that there are many laws regarding women and children that need to be revised. Zaki also highlighted the human rights violations suffered by the Palestinians and urged the world to discover the truth about their situation, adding that humanity is something that all people are born with and there should not need to be organizations to oversee its protection. The actress has recently won many awards for her portrayal of a mother struggling to keep her family together after the death of her husband in the popular TV series.
