Egyptian actress Nadia El-Genidy has been honoured with an award for her outstanding work in cinema and television at the seventh annual Diafa Festival in Dubai. During her tribute, El-Genidy praised the efforts made by the UAE to help Gaza and expressed her happiness that she was able to attend the festival in Dubai. Many other stars attended the festival, including Turkish actor Burak Deniz, Pamela El Kik, Asser Yassin, Carole Samaha, and others. Other stars who were honoured at the festival include Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred, Pamela El Kik for her success in the series Crystal, Amir Karara, and others. The festival was also dedicated this year to the memory of the Arab screen diva Faten Hamama, who passed away eight years ago.
