The seventh annual Diafa hospitality festival took place in Dubai on November 22, honoring a number of celebrities including Mona Zaki, who was recognized for her work in the TV series "Under Supervision". The festival also paid tribute to the late Egyptian screen icon Faten Hamama, featuring a speech by festival president Michel Daher acknowledging her contributions to shaping the image of Arab women in cinema. The event also honored a number of other stars, including Carol Samahe, Saad Lamjarred, Pamela al-Kik, Amir Karara, and Asma Ibrahim. In her acceptance speech, Zaki spoke of the importance of humanity, noting that no organization needs to teach it and that it is innate to each person.
