Jada called the allegations "ridiculous" and stated that there is a difference between having a negative opinion and spreading malicious lies. Jada also revealed that there is a conflict between her husband and his former assistant, with the latter seeking compensation for his contribution to Will Smith's book. Will reportedly tried to offer him a portion of the payment, which was refused. Jada also claimed that Will laughed off the accusations because of their absurdity.
