Egyptian actress Riham Haggag will star in a new Ramadan TV series called “Sedfa,” set to be released in 2024. Haggag will play a leading role alongside Khaled El-Sawi, Rahab Al-Gamal, Salwa Khattab, Feras Sayed, Essam El-Sakka. The screenplay is by Ayman Salama and directed by Sameh Abdel Aziz, and the series is said to be focused around social themes mixed with suspense. This takes place after Haggag's last TV series "Gamila" which revolved around the issues of inheritance and marital issues, in which Haggag played the role of a wife of character played by actor Hany Adel. Haggag's most recent film was Raghda Matorashah in 2018, co-starring Ramez Galal, Bayoumi Fouad, and Sami Maghouri. Feras Sayed, on the other hand, has recently finished filming a TV series called “Arwah Khafeia” (Hidden Spirits) with Somaya El-Khashab among other actors, and has also worked on the film “Saa'a Ejaba” (An Answered Hour) co-starring with prominent actors Ahmed Fathy and Ayten Amer.
