Ayat Samaha, the Egyptian actress, recently shared photos from her role in the TV series “Hadath Bilfie'l” (It Really Happened) on social media. She played the character of Kamila, who suffers from bulimia nervosa, a psychological condition. Samaha explained the disorder through the photos. According to her statements, she followed a strict diet to prepare for the role. She is also set to appear in the second season of the TV series “Kamil Aladad” alongside Dina El Sherbiny in Ramadan 2024. Samaha recently starred in the social TV series “Ala Bab Al-Ammar” (At the Door of the Building),screened on Watch It. The series features a cast of young stars, including Hatem Salah, Mohamed Mahmoud, Mohamed Reda, Azza Labib, Riham Alshennawi, Mohamed Abdelazim, and many others. It was written by Mustafa Hamdi and directed by Khairy Salem. The series “It Really Happened” showcases 101 real stories gathered from nine Arab countries related to psychological disorders. This is the first TV series in the Arab world to explore such stories in-depth.
