Warner Music and the estate of French singer Édith Piaf are developing a biopic about the late star using AI to reinvent her voice and image. The film will be called “Édith” and is said to be currently in its final stages of production. The movie will be 90 minutes long and will cover unknown aspects of the singer's life, telling her story through her own voice. The technology used to recreate Piaf's voice and image has been based on hundreds of audio an image clips that date back more than 80 years. The announcement of the movie comes sixty years after Piaf's death.
