For the first time, a cinema has been opened in Medina with 10 screens and 764 seats. The cinema, located in the Rashid Mall, includes a children's cinema and uses the latest technology to provide an amazing experience for guests, as well as a dedicated gaming area. The Medina branch is the tenth for Empire Cinemas in Saudi Arabia, which aims to grow the cinema sector in the country and provide a great cinematic experience for all moviegoers. The number of cinema screens in the kingdom has now reached 112. Geno Haddad, CEO of Empire Cinemas, said that their new branch in Medina has attracted a large number of visitors, and they look forward to welcoming more in the near future. This is the second branch of Empire Cinemas to open this year, following the opening of its branch in the Rubea district of Riyadh in June 2023. The new branch includes four exclusive experiences, including IMAX LASER, which is designed with laser technology, and an advanced sound system that delivers the most detailed sound effects. There is also the SCREEN X experience, which allows viewers to enjoy the film from a 270-degree angle thanks to the large screen display on both sides.
