Ramy Sabry has arrived in Saudi Arabia in preparation for the "Night of Tears" concert which will take place on November 16th as part of the Riyadh Season events. The first "Night of Tears" concert took place in August and featured many stars such as Ahmed Saad, Hamada Helal, Tamer Ashour, Tarek El-Sheikh, Adam, Haitham Shaker, and Muslim. Sherine Abdel-Wahab surprised the audience at the concert by performing many of her sad songs that the audience interacted with. The tribute concert "Baliq Hamdi Classics" took place last week in Riyadh and featured performances from Angham, Nancy Ajram, Saber El-Rubai, Assala, Majid Al-Muhandis, and Mai Farouk. Baliq Hamdi was born in 1931 and mastered the oud at the age of nine. He became famous in 1957 for his first work for Abdel Halim Hafez, the song "You Betrayed Him". He then collaborated with major Egyptian and Arab singers, and his melodies were characterized by simplicity and ease.
