Amr Diab, a popular Egyptian singer, has announced that he will be returning to concerts after he had cancelled his appearances due to the Gaza shelling incidents earlier this year. Diab, who is known as the “father of Mediterranean music”, announced that he will donate part of the proceeds of the concert to the Red Crescent Society to support Gaza families as part of the “Unity for Gaza” campaign. The concert is scheduled to take place at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena next Saturday, November 18th. Poet Mostafa Hadotta has collaborated with Diab on the song “Hey Moon”. It is the first of many collaborations that the two plan to release in the near future.
