Egyptian actor Asser Yassin has signed on to star in a new Ramadan series called "El Sa'a 5" (At 5:00) consisting of 15 episodes. The show is expected to be announced soon, and will be a mystery and suspense series. Yassin is also currently filming the movie "El Forsa El Motamaema" (The Death Squad),where he stars alongside Ahmed Ezz and Menna Shalaby. The film takes place in an exciting action context. Yassin is also awaiting the release of his new film "Shamarekh" in December, co-starring Amina Khalil, Khaled El Sawy, and many other actors. The film, directed by Amr Salama, revolves around action, romance, and suspense, with Yassin playing the role of a businessman and owner of a factory, and Khalil playing that of a lawyer. Last Ramadan, Yassin starred in the series "El Ketiba 101" (The Battalion 101) alongside Amr Youssef, Khaled El Sawy, and Waheed Hamed. The show was written by Ayad Salah and directed by Mohamed Salama, produced by Synergy.
