"Boycott TikTok" Call by Faiz Al-Maliki to Support Saudi Arabia.

Popular Gulf celebrities have called for a boycott of the TikTok app, accusing it of deleting positive content related to Saudi Arabia and being biased against the kingdom. Saudi Arabian artist Fayez al-Maliki called for replacing TikTok with a local alternative called Jako, which is gaining momentum in the country. The boycott campaign began in late October after Saudi activists complained about their accounts being deleted, especially those that promote national content or support Saudi Arabia. Campaign participants believe TikTok has an anti-Saudi policy and accuse the app of colluding with anti-Saudi entities, allowing the publication of content that is harmful to the kingdom while deleting supportive content.
