The second season of Netflix's series "Wednesday" has faced production challenges after losing one of its key team members mid-shoot. Despite being renewed for a second season after becoming one of the most successful titles on the streaming platform, production of the second season is currently suspended due to ongoing Hollywood strikes. In addition, actress Thora Birch, who had joined as a new lead for season two, has had to resign before completing shooting, due to personal reasons. Although she had completed most of her scenes, it is unclear whether her character will still appear in the show or if a new character will be added to finish her story. The second season will feature Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman, who play Morticia and Gomez Addams respectively, alongside lead actress Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams.
