The Riyadh Season, in its fourth edition, kicked off on the evening of October 28, 2023, in the presence of  international stars, and His Excellency Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, announced through his personal Instagram account that the historic fight between Furu and Nagnou is the beginning of the first events of the new edition of the festival. He commented: “Opening the gates for the #Riyadh_Season fans... welcoming them to the historic fight #BattleOfTheBaddest.”

The season will open with a historic fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Angano, as the world's most anticipated 10-round fight between the two champions takes place in the capital.

The opening ceremony of the fourth edition of the Riyadh Season 2023 was held in the multi-use Boulevard Hall building, which also hosts a number of international events and events throughout the season.
