Egyptian artist Ahmed El-Fishawy sent a message to his mother, artist Somaya Al-Alfi. He published a picture of his mother, through his official Instagram account, and commented: “The great, gentle-hearted artist Sumaya Al-Alfy. I am proud to have you as my mother. I love you forever.”

The artist, Sumaya Al-Alfi, had previously announced that she had completely recovered from cancer, as she described it, last May.

She reassured her fans and thanked the Egyptian doctors who supervised her treatment.
