A number of stars volunteered with the Misr Al-Khair Foundation to provide aid to the people of Gaza, including a financial donation and packaging of food supplies and medical tools that will be sent.

The artist, Omar El-Shenawy, published a group of photos in which he appeared with a number of stars, including Amina Khalil, Asma Jalal, Maryam El-Khasht, Jihan El-Shamasherji, Basil El-Zaro, Sarah El-Shami, Tiam Mustafa Qamar, Hamza Diab, Yasmina El-Abd, and author Maryam Naoum.

Omar El-Shenawy wrote in response to the photo: “These photos are not for showing off by doing good. No, these photos are my home because I see that this is the least we can do to help with it, and I hope that I will be given the opportunity to stand up and defend them with my blood.”
