Honoring Hussein Fahmy and a number of stars at the opening of the tenth session of the Sharjah International Film Festival and a minute of silence for the souls of the children of Palestine.

At the opening ceremony of its tenth session, the Sharjah Film Festival for Children and Youth honored the Emirati artist Ahmed Al Jasmi with two Lifetime Achievement Awards, and also honored the child Jean Ramez.
In its tenth session, the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth honored Egyptian star Hussein Fahmy with the Lifetime Creativity Award.

Hussein Fahmy said: “Thank you to Sultan Al Qasimi, the dear friend of Egypt, and my friend personally. We meet today in very difficult moments. We are here today with children and youth, and all our hearts are with the children of Palestine.”

Young actor Jean Ramez said in his speech at the opening of the tenth session of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth: “Good evening to you. Before anything else, I would like to thank His Highness Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi, and I would like to thank Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi, for the invitation, and this is my first honor, and I I have many goals that I want to achieve, and Ramez ended his speech by saying: “In my name and the name of every Arab child, I would like to say to the children of Palestine that our hearts are with you, and thank you very much for your encouragement.”

Also present on the green carpet were the star Hussein Fahmy, the star Laila Elwi, the screenwriter Medhat El Adl, the actor Samer El Masry, the broadcaster Bossi Shalabi, the child Jean Ramez, and the Emirati actor Tariq Al Ali. The black color dominated the stars’ clothes as they attended the opening.
