The intellectual framework program within the activities of the fifth International University Theatre Forum in Cairo, which is named after the veteran artist Farida Fahmy, has been announced. It will be held from October 21 to 27 under the slogan "Life for Us". The intellectual framework will be held from October 22 to 24 and will be organized by Dr. Mohamed Samir Al-Khatib and coordinated by critic Mai El-Demassi, under the title "The University Theatre ... Global Manifestations". The program will include a master class entitled "Developments in Acting and Journalistic Direction Skills in University Theatre" by Professor Peter Parlo, Director of the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy and Professor Rania Fattouh, Professor of Acting at Helwan University. There will also be a special meeting with Ahmed Abu Rahima, Director of the Sharjah Department of Culture and member of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy.  The program will also include a round-table discussion entitled "University Theatre Festivals ... Creative Horizons," with the participation of directors from the Sultanate of Oman and Tunisia.  The Forum, organized under the auspices of the Prime Minister of Egypt, Mostafa Madbouli, is in its fifth edition and is supported by the Ministries of Culture and Youth and Sports as well as the Tourism Promotion Authority.
