Rolling Stones album launch with Lady Gaga after 18-year hiatus.

The Rolling Stones held a special concert at the Post-Side club in Manhattan to launch their first album of new songs in 18 years. The rock and roll band performed six songs from their album "Honey Darlings", which has received some of the best ratings for the band in decades. Mick Jagger, the lead singer of the band, joked with the enthusiastic audience that launching another album in New York was part of the motivation to return to the studio to record songs. The band ended their concert with Lady Gaga performing "Sweet Sounds of Heaven." The album "Honey Darlings" is the first complete album of new songs for the band since 2005. It is also the first since the death of drummer Charlie Watts in 2021. Other guests attending the launch of the new album included Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Elton John, and former guitarist Bill Wyman, who left the band in the 1990s.
