UAE Halts Major Musical Concerts.

The United Arab Emirates has postponed concerts by popular Arab singers in solidarity with Palestine, which is facing difficult conditions due to its ongoing resistance against Israeli occupation forces. The company organizing Mohammed Abdo's concert in the Sharjah Emirate on November 4 postponed his performance, while Nancy Ajram's concert on November 11 in the Al Majaz Theater in Dubai was also postponed. Similarly, Amr Diab's concert scheduled for October 20 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai was also postponed, along with Angham's performance which was supposed to take place on the same night. Kuwait, Jordan, and Oman have also postponed their music concerts entirely. The Kuwaiti Cabinet decided last week to stop all state artistic activities in solidarity with the Palestinian situation, including the cancellation of the entire evening of Omar's Night Festival. Egyptian Minister of Culture, Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, has also postponed the 32nd Arab Music Festival, which was supposed to take place this weekend in Egypt. The postponements come as Arab artists express their support for the Palestinian cause and their condemnation of Israeli aggression against Palestine.
