The Egyptian Red Crescent Society is involved in several initiatives to support the Palestinian population in Gaza, which has been struggling to access food, water, and medicine due to ongoing violence and blockades. Egyptian singer Amr Diab also donated 5 million Egyptian pounds to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society to support the Palestinian people, and thanked all the volunteers and humanitarian workers involved in the relief efforts. Additionally, Egyptian football player Mohamed Salah, who plays for Liverpool, donated money to support the Palestinian people, according to Dr. Rami Al-Nazer, the Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society.
