Egyptian actress Samah Anwar has joined the cast of the new film “Death Squad” alongside stars Ahmed Ezz and Asser Yassin. Anwar will play the role of the mother of Yassin’s character, who is a rural villager. Mona Shalabi, who has appeared in four previous films alongside Ahmed Ezz, will also play a major role. Filming for “Death Squad” began several days ago in Garden City, and the production company has allocated a large budget to ensure the high-quality action scenes and battles are expertly designed. The film is scheduled to be released during the summer of 2024.
