Taylor Swift's music documentary film, The Eras Tour, has broken the global record for highest opening weekend, surpassing Michael Jackson's This Is It. The Eras Tour garnered global revenues of $128 million, beating This Is It's first-week revenues of $74.3 million. The domestic revenues of The Eras Tour also racked up $96 million, beating the two-week revenue of horror film Exorcist: Believer, which came in at second place. The film showcases Taylor Swift’s concert of the same name that features the singer performing all her 10 albums, with each album representing a different era in her music career. The Eras Tour is produced by Taylor Swift, who has already won accolades for her documentary Miss Americana and her Disney+ film Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions.
