Saudi Arabian artist Waed appeared on Arab Wood, a program broadcast on Rotana channels. During her attendance at a private concert celebrating the success of Gulf guitar artist Nawal Al Kuwaitia's album, "Al Ard" (The Earth),Waed spoke about the album: "The name immediately reminds you of Talal Maddah's 'Voice of the Earth'. I felt the same way and the idea of the album and the image is amazing and Nawal's spirit is present in all the songs, as she always does. I'm currently focusing on listening to song after song and I liked my song "Where" and "The Rosary."
