The National Center for Theater, Music and Folk Arts, under the auspices of the Minister of Culture Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem and the supervision of director Khaled Galal, is organizing a celebration to honor the late great artist Mahmoud Yassin at the National Theater in Cairo on October 15, 2023. The event will include a documentary film about the artist's life and career, speeches by his daughter Rania Mahmoud Yassin and writer Amr Mahmoud Yassin, and musical performances by the center's orchestra featuring selections from classical works by Mozart and Beethoven performed by a woodwind trio.
