Director Ahmed Alaa El-Deeb has begun filming "The Death Squad" starring Ahmed Ezz. They reunited once again in 2021's "The Crime" directed by Sherif Arafa and in 2012's "Aziz's Dream" starring Ahmed Ezz. Ahmed Ezz's latest film was "Kiria and the Jinn" adapted from the novel "1919" by Ahmed Murad, who also wrote the screenplay and dialogue. It was directed by Marwan Hamed and starred Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Ezz, Hend Sabry, and Said Ragab, along with Ahmed Malik, Al-Qasim, Razaan Gamal, Huda El-Mufti, Mohammad Abdel Azim, Aarfa Abdel Rasoul, Tamer Nabil, and Ahmed Abdullah Mahmoud. Mena Shalabi's last work in film was 2021's "The Crime," which also featured Ahmed Ezz, Maged El-Kedwany, Said Ragab, Riyad El-Khouly, Mohamed El-Sharnouby, Mohammed Gomaa, Nabil Eissa, Mirna Nour El-Din, Haggag Abdel Azim, Mohamed Abu Dawood, and others.
