Producer Mohamed Mokhtar has responded to comments from his daughter Nancy in a TV interview, where she expressed that she does not want any help from him, as well as comments from his former wife Rania Youssef, who said she became a first-tier star after separating from him. Mokhtar said in response to Youssef's comments: "It's her right to say anything, and I hope she remains a first-tier star, but she's not yet a first-tier star. This is a big issue, just like Mona Zaki, Yasmin Abdel Aziz, and Hend Sabry. May God help her become a first-tier star." As for Nancy's comments, Mokhtar commented, "I blame her mother for anything they disagree on. Don't use Nancy in anything like that. This is the second time Nancy has made a mistake in things like wearing a dress with problems at festivals, and these things are not nice." He added, "I have been separated from Rania Youssef for 14 years and I am very happy with my life now." Youssef also said in the same interview that she regretted marrying Mokhtar, saying, "I regret and was upset that I married Mohamed Mokhtar, and thank God, after I divorced him, I became a first-tier star and the only good thing that came out of it was my daughters."
