Asala shone with her unique sensitivity to Shumukh Al-Aqila's poems, delivering them beautifully in her own style. The last evening of the Riyadh International Book Fair's events was one of the most distinguished cultural events featuring poetry and music to celebrate creative Saudi poet Shumukh Al-Aqila, with elite performers. This event marked the first time Shumukh Al-Aqila had appeared, and she was honoured by the Literature and Publishing Translation Authority in the Ministry of Culture at Abu Bakr Salem in Riyadh, coinciding with the Year of Arabic Poetry.
