Inspiring Shahin Honors Caroline Cellul in Alexandria Festival Opening, with List of Honorees.

The 39th edition of the Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival was opened on Sunday with the theme "Cinema Dances and Sings" and was named after Egyptian artist Ilham Shahin. During the festival, French star Caroline Cellier was honored, along with other artists such as Greek artist Kostas Firas and Egyptian singer Medhat Saleh. The festival includes both long and short films from Mediterranean countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Caroline Cellier, who has had a successful career in France, has shown her abilities in cinema and theatre. She has appeared in several notable films, including Bertrand Blier's Tenue de Soiree, which won a Cesar Award, and Les Matins du Monde, and has worked with renowned directors such as Bertrand Blier, Andre Techine, and Claude Chabrol. Cellier has also showcased her skills in theatre productions by famous authors such as Yasmina Reza and Brian Friel. The festival is held under the auspices of the governor of Alexandria, the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, and the Egyptian Association of Cinema Critics and Writers.
