Mohammad Abdu mesmerizes audience in the first night of Lahn Al-Mamlakah Festival.

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture organized the "Lahn Al-Mamlaka" festival in Jeddah to honor Saudi Arabian music legends. The first evening saw the artist Mohammed Abdu perform some of the classic works of deceased Saudi Arabian composers Dr. Abdulrab Idris and the late Omar Al-Khadir. Abdu urged the government to honor more of the nation's artists who have not yet received such recognition. The festival witnessed the performance of renowned composer Idris, who played some of his famous tunes, such as the song "Laylati," and he was subsequently honored at the event. The next two events will honor the late Salih al-Shaykhri and Fusai Musin, performed by the notable artists Abdulmajid Abdullah, Talal Salama, and Dalia Mubarak.
