Turki Al-Alsheikh congratulates Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf on French academy appointment.

Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf has been elected as the new permanent secretary of the French Academy. He replaces Helene Carrere d'Encausse who passed away on August 5th.
