Prominent Kuwaiti actress Hayat Al-Fahad has announced that she will not be participating in a drama series that was due to take place during Ramadan 2024. The announcement was made in an official statement posted on Instagram, citing "special circumstances" and her desire to focus on her health. Al-Fahad had previously been expected to star alongside fellow actress Saud Abdullah in the as-yet-unnamed series. The two previously appeared in separate dramas during Ramadan 2021. The series was also being developed in partnership with Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority and MBC Group. The show's cancellation or replacement cast have not been announced.
