Egyptian actor Sherif Mounir has announced his official divorce from his wife Laura through a post on his Instagram page. The marriage between Mounir and Laura followed the death of his first wife Nahed, the mother of his children Asma and Fouad after a battle with cancer. Laura returned to acting in 2021 in the TV series "Nasibi Wa Qasmitak" after a long hiatus. She also appeared in the film "Al-Batul" in 1998 with the late Ahmed Zaki. Mounir's latest film was "Day 13" with Ahmed Dawood, Dina El-Sherbiny, and Arwa Gouda. The film is a horror story about a man who returns home after many years only to discover a mysterious adventure in his family's palace. Mounir also appeared in the TV series "Ijrar Qadeem" which premiered during the 2023 Ramadan season in Egypt.
