Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi and Saudi artist Dalia Mubarak performed a concert on Saturday at the Qasr Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi in celebration of Saudi Arabia’s 93rd National Day. The concert also marked the first time that Mubarak has performed in the UAE, and saw her sing her latest songs, including “Yaa Lail Ya Ayne” and “Halat Nafsiyah”. Mubarak, who donned a loose-fitting, Gulf-style robe in a leafy green colour, also said that she was proud to be singing on behalf of her second home, the UAE. Al Jassmi’s performance lasted over an hour-and-a-half and included songs such as “Bel Bont Al Areed” and “Hata Mit Dam El Gharn”, with both artists receiving a warm reception from the audience in attendance and reportedly leading the audience in singalongs for much of the performance.
