Ronaldo also participated in the kingdom's national day celebrations, joining his teammates at Saudi club Al-Nassr in wearing traditional garb and performing a dance called "Ardha". Videos of the celebrations were shared on the Al-Nassr club's social media accounts. The couple's visit to Saudi Arabia comes amid international controversy over the kingdom's human rights record, and a campaign to boycott the upcoming Formula E electric car race scheduled to take place in Riyadh in December.
