The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) in Saudi Arabia has celebrated the country's 93rd national day by launching fireworks displays in more than 15 sites and drone shows in Riyadh. In a tweet, the chairman of the GEA, Turki Al-Sheikh, thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their leadership, which has enabled the development of infrastructure and improvement in the quality of life for all in the kingdom. The GEA also released figures that showed it has issued more than 140,000 licenses for interactive and entertainment activities, with more than 4,500 facilities authorized to host such events. The GEA is part of Vision 2030, the kingdom's program of social and economic reform.
