Egyptian actress Amina Khalil has joined the cast of the upcoming movie "Anf w Thalath Oyoun," from Lagoonie Film Production and Rise Studio, one month into filming. Based on the novel by renowned author Ehsan Abdel Quddous, the film is a contemporary cinematic adaptation of the 1972 film. It follows renowned cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hashem, who, in his 40s, struggles to commit to a long-term relationship until he encounters a woman named Roba, who is 25 years younger than him. The film stars Zafar Abdoun, Sabaa Mubarak, Selma Abu Dhaif, Jehan al-Shammachry, Sadek al-Sokkari, Salwa Mohamed Al, Nabil Maher, Nur Mahmoud, and the child actor Slim Mustafa. The film is slated for release in 2023.
